The positive Impact Electric Bikes have on our environment

The United States could save 462 million gallons of gasoline each year by increasing cycling from 1% to 1.5% of all trips. Did you know that 25% of all trips are made within a mile of the home, 40% of all trips are made within 2 miles of the home, and 50% of the working population in the United States commutes 5 miles or less to work?

Using an electric bicycle instead of an automobile greatly reduces your carbon footprint! The average car emits 1 pound of CO2 for every mile driven. By using an electric bike you will be reducing pollution in the form of CO2, as well as NOX, tire and brake lining fragmants.

As you can see it doesn't take much for you to do your part to help save our planet and you can have while commuting and running errands!!

I have had my electric bicycle for almost 2 years now and I don't want to get along without it. Since I live at the top of a hill, I used to dread the return trip home on a regular bicycle. It is now easy to make a quick trip to my neighborhood grocery store, the post office, the vegetable stand, or grab a quick bite at a local restaurant. I love not looking for a parking place and doing something good for the planet and my pocketbook.

I feel the same way! I just bought a new EcoBike a few months ago because I have a 5 mile commute each way to work. Since I have had this bike, I find that I am using it more and more each day! I rarely use my car anymore because riding my bike makes me feel good about helping the environment and I'm saving close to $100.00 per week in gas!
