Beat rising gas prices!

With the ever-rising gasoline prices now averaging around $4.00 and up per gallon in most of teh United States, using an electric bicycle as your main mode of transportation can save you a ton of money. For the cost of 1 gallon of gas you can recharge your electric bike about 80 times (costing about 5 cents per charge). A fully charged battery can take you up tp 20 miles. 80 charge cycles X 20 miles per charge will take you approximately 1600 miles. That $4.00 gallon of gasoline isn't going to allow your car to travel even 1/4 of that distance!

The positive Impact Electric Bikes have on our environment

The United States could save 462 million gallons of gasoline each year by increasing cycling from 1% to 1.5% of all trips. Did you know that 25% of all trips are made within a mile of the home, 40% of all trips are made within 2 miles of the home, and 50% of the working population in the United States commutes 5 miles or less to work?

Using an electric bicycle instead of an automobile greatly reduces your carbon footprint! The average car emits 1 pound of CO2 for every mile driven. By using an electric bike you will be reducing pollution in the form of CO2, as well as NOX, tire and brake lining fragmants.

As you can see it doesn't take much for you to do your part to help save our planet and you can have while commuting and running errands!!
